Always be humble with success and gracious in defeat
The afternoon was spent in side the Nineteen after the Club Captain Marti Scott abandoned play for the day. This is an opportunity when Royal Wellington Golf Club invites Wellington's diplomatic core to a days Golf. I was to play with the Pakistani Ambassador Muneer Shees Bhatti. A great lunch was held for all 35 guests and members. We were able to catch up with Rodney to get all the low down on his recent success in the Australian Senior Amateur champs, now taking the title for the third time in six years. Christine did the taxi run for David Service and myself around 5.30pm. A great day had by all!!
